hypoxia:
- Cerebral syncope is caused by a sudden drop in
cardiac output and cerebral perfusion due to an arrhythmia or a mechanial
problem.
- Inappropriate Vasodilatation also causes symptoms by reducing
cerebral perfusion”-
- Syncope or fainting is perhaps the most frequently
complication associated with local anesthesia in the dental office.
- This is a form of
neurogenic shock and is cause by cerebral ischemia secondary to vasodilatation
or an increase in the peripheral vascular bed, with a corresponding drop in
blood pressure
