A Brief about AIPGDEE 2016

Last Date for Online Application: November 5, 2015

The Prospectus is available in the website www.aiimsexams.org.
The Application-cum-Examination Fee is Rs.1000/- (Rs.800/- in case of SC/ST candidates)
PWD (Person with distability) candidates are exempted from Application-cum-Exam Fee.
Its the main entrance exam for MDS admissions.
Date of 13 December has been announced by AIIMS for the the exam.
The exam will be online.
This exam's merit enables BDS doctors to take admission 50% of All india seats.
Eligibility Criteria (As per the Notice):
Candidate Should have done BDS degree from a dental Institute which is recognized by the govt. of India. Also the candidate should be of Indian Nationality or Person of Indian Origin/ Overseas citizen of Indian Card.
The Candidate should have completed one year of compulsory rotating Internship and should complete the required period of 12 months per-registration internship from a recognized hospital on or before 31 March 2016.
Exam Pattern:
Total Time Alloted : 180 Minutes
Total Number of Questions: 200 Multiple Choices Questions (MCQ)
Type of questions: MCQ
Marks for Correct Answer: +4
Negative Marking for Incorrect Answer: -1
Zero mark will be given for the questions not answered
Exam Syllabus:
The questions asked will be relevant to subjects, example:
1. Basic Sciences
2. Para-Clinical
3. Clinical Subjects
Tips:
>A better strategy and preparation can be helpful to crack AIPGDEE, and AIIMS.
>As these exams have limited seats with high competition so you must follow a strict study plan.
>Go through your entire BDS syllabus specially the first year subjects
>refer all the standard text books. It is so because one book explains some topics nicely and other topics are elucidated in other books.
>averaged 10-11 hrs daily for fruitful study
>Preparations not limited to the last moment of the cramming ability.
> emphasis more on clinically oriented and in depth specialized topics like radiotherapy, radiology , genetics, molecular biology etc
>Attempt Regular Mock test
