Teeth least commonly extracted for orthodontic reason?
A. Premolars
B. Molars
C. Canines
D. Incisors

Ans. (C)
Extraction Of Canines- Canines are not frequently extracted as a part of orthodontic treatment. The extraction of canines is said to cause flattening of face, altered facial balance and change in facial expression. In addition the contact produced between the premolars and latera: incisor is rarely satisfactory. Discussion- Why Not (D)- Although Maxillary incisors are also rarely extracted but still not the answer here. The reason being that the canine's extraction have much more consequences than the incisors extraction alone. Also nowaday it is a common practice in which the canines are being modified to shape 01 lateral and contact between the ce 'al and modified canine is quite satisfactory.
