Non-union- It is mostly as a result of bone lOSS which may be either as a result of osteomyelitis. comminution of the

bone, onset of infection or pathological fracture.

Review At Glance- The treatment of non-union is accompanied by giving bone graft in the form of blocks or bone

chips. When gap is small. chips of bone may serve the purpose But if the gap is bigger. blocks of bone may be uired for bridging the gap. Iliac crest may be used for the purpose. Alternatively 7m rib can be used.
